Diagnostic Laparoscopy to assess tubal and pelvic pathology in patients of subfertility: A retrospective analysis

Aims: To assess the tubal pathology contributing to primary and secondary infertility by laparoscopic examination.
 Methods: The study was carried out in department of Obstetrics gynecology, Grande International Hospital. This is a retrospective conducted tertiary care hospital over period 2 yrs. From 2020 February 2022 January. All patients with complaints (primary secondary) who were admitted, evaluated operated for Gynaecology international Hospital.
 Results: Of 52 minimum age 20 maximum 46 mean 30.52±4.885. Thirty eight had 14 secondary. Forty normal uterus while 12 enlarged uterus. Hydrosalpinx found 11.5 % 30.8% right left tube respectively. Pyosalpinx 9.6% 7.7% Bilateral tubes patent 22 cases bilateral blocked 13 so rest 17 unilateral block. Pelvic adhesions 44.2 cases. Most them associated endometriosis (15.4%) followed ovarian cyst (11.5%) fibroid (11.5%).
 Conclusions: Majority edematous tube, hydrosalpinx pyosalpinx. Endometriosis, commonly conditions.
